I thought I'd mentioned that today we got a surprise package from one of our friends in Portland, Oregon. Jared and Carm sent us a pickled mango from Guam! I had been craving for these mangos (very crispy, crunchy and tasted like P.I. young mangos)-the longest time! I remember how much I drooled for this stuff when I was pregnant.
Jared's mom visited over and brought this goodies with her! She prepared the pickled mangos herself with the real vinegar (fermented from the coconut) and good stuff in there! They thought of us and sent us a container! I couldn't stop eating; I swear, I could finish them in one sitting if I would!! I decided to share some to Jo and have Annie try, too (whose on her way to giving birth anytime soon)!!whew!!!
Anyway, I am overjoyed with such great friends that we have, despite the distance, the strong bond of friendship is still there. We can't wait for their visit soon!!
